The local Muslim fashion industry continues to find momentum even in the midst of pandemics. The digital platform is apparently one of the most prominent business objectives in the industry.

This was revealed by the global modest fashion designer of VIVIZUBEDI Brand, Vivi Mar’i Zubedi. According to her, the use of technology is very important for every company to be able to adapt amid the pandemic.

“By optimizing ViviZubedi’s sales through the digital platform, now people from Papua can get our products easily. In fact, our turnover was increased by 3 times in May 2021,” said Vivi in ​​the Tokopedia Muslim Fash Forward webinar, Tuesday (24/8).

Tokopedia’s Head of Category Development (Fashion), Falah Fakhriyah, said the fashion category consisted of various local Muslim fashion products. And it became one of the categories with the fastest increase in transactions during Q2 2021 compared to Q2 2020.
