Flash floods and landslides have struck several regions on the island of Sumatra, including North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Aceh, since November 24, 2025. Responding to this humanitarian call, ISSA Group acted swiftly to distribute humanitarian aid. The disaster not only caused physical damage but also deeply affected the emotional well-being of the affected communities, many of whom lost their sense of safety and are in urgent need of tangible support.
In response to the situation, ISSA Group promptly delivered disaster relief assistance to affected residents across Sumatra. The aid included basic necessities, emergency supplies, and logistical support. In its implementation, ISSA Group collaborated with ASAR Humanity as its on-the-ground partner to ensure that the distribution of aid was well-targeted, timely, and well-coordinated, allowing assistance to reach those most in need directly.
Vivi Mar’i Zubedi, Designer, Founder, CEO & Executive Chairman of ISSA Group, stated that companies must carry meaningful value for humanity.
“ISSA Group is deeply concerned about the disaster that has affected our brothers and sisters in Sumatra, and we are committed to providing support to those impacted. We hope that every small step we take together can become a new source of hope for those in need,” she said.
Through this initiative, ISSA Group invites all elements of society to contribute to helping Sumatra recover. ISSA Group hopes that this assistance will serve as moral support, reminding affected communities that they are not facing this situation alone, and reaffirms the company’s commitment to continuously engage in social initiatives for the greater collective well-being.
